Biography

Benjamin was born 5 Mar 1660 in Scituate, Massachusetts, son of John Turner Sr.[1] and Mary Brewster. He passed away before 1734.

Children

Benjamin Turner and Elizabeth Hawkins had the following children:[2]

  • Joseph Turner, b. 18 Apr. 1694; m. Elizabeth Starr

  • William Turner (twin), b. 5 Aug. 1698; m. Abigail Church
  • Hawkins Turner, b. 27 Aug. 1704, baptized 3 Sept. 1704; m. Lusanna Starr
  • Elizabeth Turner, m. Joseph Brewster

Probate

His will is dated 10 May 1731 and proved on 19 March 1834/35 in Plymouth. He mentions his wife, Elizabeth, and his children, John Turner, Joseph Turner, Hawkins Turner, William Turner, Benjamin Turner, Elizabeth Brewster, and his granddaughter, Grace Dwelley (daughter of his deceased daughter, Grace). His inventory was taken on 27 February 1734/35 in Scituate.[3]
