Biography

Daughter of Sonny Turnipseed and Eliza Davis.

Dora was reported as age 10 in the 1900 Census. Her father Sonny was age 38. Her mother Liza was age 25. Brother Junnie was age 13; brother Carl was age 12; brother Lounnie was age 9; brother Arlie was age 7; brother Julius was age 4 and sister Maggie was age 2. Sonny's brother Samuel, age 20, was also in the household.^[1]

She died of cerebral apoplexy to which a contributing factor was hypertension.^[2]
