Percy Turvey was Killed in Action during World War I.
Percy Charles Turvey was born in Holborn in 1890.
He served as a Serjeant with the London Regiment (Queen Victoria's Rifles). He died in Belgium on 15 Aug 1917, aged 27. He is commemorated at the Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial. He was recorded as the son of David and Rosina Turvey, of 5, Perth Terrace, Perth Rd., Ilford, London.[1]
