James Turvey, son of Samuel of Great Warley, was named as a beneficiary in the will of Thomas Turvey of Romford, Essex, which was proved on 16 January 1813. This will named as equal beneficiaries Samuel Turvey, William Turvey, James Turvey, John Turvey and Joseph Turvey, all sons of the late Samuel Turvey of Great Warley, blacksmith. [2]
