Samuel Tuttle was born in New Haven, Connecticut, on 15 Jul 1670, the son of Joseph Tuttle.[1]
Samuel married Sarah Hart (of Farmington Twp, Connecticut) on 11 Dec 1695, in New Haven Connecticut.[2][3]
Further Research
There are several candidates to be found in the records of New Haven for the children of this couple, but there are also at least three (possibly more) Samuel Tuttles producing children there in the appropriate time frame. Sarah (Tuttle) Dorman is one of these candidates.
According to one source, Samuel Tuttle died in 1709.[4] This needs to be substantiated.
Possible additional biographical reference:
In 1703, Samuel Tuttle and Joseph Tuttle (his brother?) served on a jury for the Connecticut Court of Assistants, in Hartford.[5]
