Biography

Henrietta Tuzo was a Canadian mountain climber, who made the first ascent of Peak Seven in the Canadian Rockies on July 21, 1906. The mountain was later named Mount Tuzo in her honor. [1]

She married John Armistead Wilson in 1907 in Warlingham, Surrey, England,[2] where she lived in 1881 with her parents[3] and in 1901 with her mother.[4] The Wilsons moved to Ottawa, Ontario, where their two children were born.[5]
