His siblings were:

  2. Elizabeth Twining (1753–1817)

Joseph (21) married Mary Lee (19) (born on 23 Nov 1750 in Upper Makefield Township, Bucks, Pennsylvania) on 27 Dec 1769 in Wrightstown, Bucks County.[3] Their known children were:

  1. Jacob Twining (1770–1848)
  2. Sarah Twining (1775–1875)

Joseph (34) married Hannah Duffil (22) (born on 23 Jun 1760 in Southampton, Bucks) in 1783 in Pennsylvania. Their known daughter was Rebecca Twining (1795–1865).

Joseph passed away on 18 Aug 1821 in Warwick, United States, aged 72.[2]
