- Louisa Twining (1820-1911)was the daughter of [[Twining-476|Richard Twining 1772-1857) and his wife Elizabeth Mary née Smythies.
- She was baptized on the 5th of May 1820 in the parish of St Clement Danes, London.
- Her family owned the famous Twining's tea business on the Strand, London.
- Louisa studied art history in her youth. In her thirties she began her career as a Poor Law reformer.
- Author of autobiographical "Recollections of Life and Work." (1893)
- She died aged 91 unmarried dsp on the 25th of September 1912 at 68, Lansdowne Road, Kensington, London, England.
