Content was born 25 January 1679/80 in Sherborn, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay, the daughter of Joseph Twitchell and Lydia (Goard) Twitchell.
She married Joshua Stedman, son of Thomas & Mary (Watson) Stedman, on 3 January 1702/3, at Roxbury, Suffolk, MA - parents of Mary, Isaac, Joshua & Susanna (youngest child born in 1724).
