Robert Tyler is the great, great, great grand father of Dick Cheney. He and Sarah Pritchard (Pritchett) were married 18 Feb 1794. Written permission for the marriage is found in Shelby County, Kentucky records, given by her father, James Prichard.[1][2] The bond was filed with the help of William Hall on February 18.[3]
