Stanley Roy Tyler was born on 23 April 1927 at St. Paul, Minnesota, USA.[1] He appeared on the census of 16 April 1930 in the household of his parents, Goodwin Clark Tyler and Lillian Charlotte (Hoff) Tyler, at 120 W. Robie St., St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota.[2] He appeared on the census of 15 April 1940 in the household of his parents at 519 Winslow St., St. Paul, Ramsey Co., Minnesota.[3] He began military service in the US Army on 4 Sep. 1945.[4]
Stanley died on 2 Sep. 2001 at Coon Rapids, Anoka Co., Minnesota, at age 74[1] and was buried at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, Hennepin County, Minnesota. His memorial has the dates of his birth and death and a note: "PFC US ARMY WORLD WAR II"[4][5]
