In 1880, "Layfette," age 44, a laborer, his wife, Cordelia, age 32, and their children, William B., age 13, Mary, age 11, Charles, age 8, Annie, age 5, and Alice, age 3, live in Sandy Creek, Oswego, New York.^[2] They were all born in New York.
