Charles Tyler was a son of James Tyler and Elizabeth (Preece) Tyler.[1]

Birth

He was born in Dinedor, Herefordshire, England and was baptised 23 March 1845 at the Parish Church of St Andrew, Dinedor.[1][2]

Marriage

Charles Tyler and Sarah Green were married 7 January 1867 at St Andrew, Dinedor, Herefordshire.[3]

Residence

  • 1851 with his parents at Dinedor, Herefordshire.[2]
  • 1861 a servant (Carter) in the household of William Gardiner in Holme Lacy, Herefordshire.[4]
  • 1871 with wife Sarah and family at Dinedor Camp, Dinedor, Herefordshire.[5]
  • 1881 at Tower Hill, Dormington, Herefordshire [6]
  • 1891 to 1911 at Moormills Cottages, Dormington, Herefordshire.[7][8][9]

Occupation

Charles's occupations were Agricultural Labourer, [5] Waggoner[6][7][8] or Carter.[4][9]

Death

Charles Tyler died 17 March 1916 at Moormills Cottages, Dormington, Herefordshire and was buried 21 March 1916 at St Peter, Dormington. He was 72 years of age.[10][11]
