Biography

Alice Tyler was the fifth and last known child of Charles Ernest Tyler and Elizabeth (Holmes) Tyler.[1][2] Elizabeth Tyler died in 1912 and Alice was brought up as the daughter of Arthur Henry Tyler and Catherine (Williams) Tyler.[3][4]

Birth

She was born 22 February 1910 in Bartestree, Herefordshire, England.[2][5]

Marriage

Alice Tyler and Grantley Joseph Breach were married 30 April 1932 at the Parish Church of Merthyr Tydfil, Glamorgan, Wales.[6][7] He died in 1949.[8]

Alice Breach and Thomas J Howells were married between January and March 1952 in the registration district of Merthyr Tydfil (Glamorgan and Breconshire), Wales.[9]

Residence

  • 1911 (with her parents) at Bartestree, Herefordshire.[2]
  • 1921 (with her adoptive parents) at 22 King Street, Pant, Dowlais, Glamorgan, Wales.[4]
