Born at the Manor of Bruyn, near Ockendon, Berkshire, England. Son of William Tyrrell of Ockendon.
In 1519, he married Jane Ingleton, daughter and heiress of John Ingleton, of Thornton Hall, Buckinghamshire. Thus he became "Humphrey Tyrrell of Thornton Hall". He died there on 15 January 1548.
His will does not mention his wife Jane or his son George. It mentions Agnes or Ann Trygge, possibly his mistress and the mother his two daughters, and pregnant when he made his will.
Sheahan, James Joseph. History and Topography of Buckinghamshire, Comprising a General Survey of the County, Preceded by an Epitome of the Early History of Great Britain, 1862, p.313. Section on Thornton-Cum-Nash Parish which mentions the Tyrrells and Ingletons. Google-Books-ID: p9VUAAAAcAAJ.

Tyrrell-405 and Tyrrell-119 appear to represent the same person because: Same birth year, same death date. Both mention Thornton Hall. Tyrrell-405 is unsourced.
