Constance "Daisy" Harriet Tyrrell was born about 1897. Constance Harriet's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1897 in the Fulham district.[1] Constance Harriet, daughter of Thomas James Tyrrell and Harriet Susan Tyrrell, was baptised on 21 July 1897 in Walham Green, Hammersmith and Fulham, England.[2]
Constance Harriet Tyrrell married Christopher Walter Waitt on 8 September 1917, in St Paul's Church Covent Garden. [3]
Constance and Walter had a daughter Joan Waitt, born on 16 July 1918.[4]
In the 1921 census Constance (age 22) was with her husband and daughter at 51, Army Street, Wandsworth Borough, London & Surrey, England.[5]
The marriage did not prosper and Christopher Walter Waitt separated from Constance and, not wanting to lose his daughter, he took Joan with him "on the run" from the authorities. Eventually they were caught by the police and Christopher Waitt had to surrender Joan to his wife Constance. He never saw his daughter again. [4]
Constance and Christopher Waitt were divorced. They received a decree nisi on 11th May 1927, and decree absolute was granted on 21 November 1927. [3]
Constance Harriet Tyrrell Waitt passed away about 1973.
