Ann, of unknown surname, was born in 1826 in Ossett, Yorkshire. She married Benjamin Barras of Alverthorpe in 1860. The 1861 census shows that their fathers were living with them in addition to son William and an Elizabeth Brear. The 1871 census shows their three children and Annie Butterfield, but Joseph and John have since died. Meanwhile, in 1881, she is caring for a grandchild, Benjamin, son of William and Ellen. Ann died in Wakefield in 1900.
