Isabell Saule, daughter of Edward Saule, was baptized at St. Michael Cornhill, London, on 8 February 1606/7.[1][2] In an 1 June 1654 deposition, "Isabell Simkins" stated that she was "aged 44 years or thereabouts.[1]
NOTE: The given names Elizabeth and Isabel were at this time interchangeable.[1]
Marriage and Children
"Elizabeth" married Nicholas Simpkins on 9 November 1628 at Saint Gabriel Fenchurch, London, England.[3] They had children:
Efam (daughter), baptized 24 August 1632 in at St Gabriel Fenchurch, London;[4] no further record[1]
Sarah, baptized 7 October 1629 at St Benet Fink in London[5]
Mary, baptized 12 June 1631 at St Benet Fink in London[6]
Death
Isabel was named administrator of her husband's estate in October 1656.[7]
Isabel died shortly before 7 September 1669, when the inventory of her estate was taken.[1][8]
