My (George Brundage's) Aunt, Helen Brundage Fisher, prepared a paper for her granddaughter entitled: Fisher and Brundage for Tova A. F., who was her granddaughter. Tova's ancestors were Brundages, Barneys, Fishers. On page 24 is the statement about Mary Horton marrying her cousin David.

I, George Brundage, tried to change the family name to Horton, but was unable to do so. Mary Horton, b. 1687, d. 1749, wed her cousin David Horton 1696. She was the daughter of Capt. Jonathan Horton and Bertha Wells Horton. This is according to Helen Brundage Fisher. THE NAME AT BIRTH AND CURRENT NAME SHOULD BE HORTOIN. I can't fix it.
