Ann was born on 5 July 1820 in Alton, Staffordshire, christened on 13 August 1820 at the Independent Chapel in Alton; the daughter of William Udale and Mary Shipley.[1]
Ann married Joseph Birch on 23 September 1855 at St. Michael and All Angels, Penkridge, Staffordshire[2].
