Elsey was born about 1857, the daughter of William Udell and Hannah Titus. In 1875, she married Stephen Munson. At the time of her death in 1930, she was married to Fred Tart.

Research Notes

Elsie's grave says she was born in 1861, and the birthdate on her death certificate is 13 June 1861. However, the 1861 date appears to be in error, because she was included in the U.S. Census enumerated 24 June 1860. Elsie is listed as age 2 in the 1860 Census and age 12 in the 1870 Census.
