Carl Samuel Uebergang was born about 1795 near Bersdorf, Jauer, Liegnitz, Silesia, Prussia, German Empire. He was the son of Samuel Uebergang & Anna Rosina Kitz^[1]

Married Anna Rosina Karge ... (about 1828 near Silesia, Prussia)

He passed away 1887 at Horsham, Victoria^[2]. (est DOB 1795).

He is interred with wife (Anna Rosena) at Green Lake Cemetery, Horsham, Victoria^[3].

According to notes on their burial headstone; they arrived in Australia March 1849 on the ship 'Wappaus'

"SHIPPING AND COMMERCIAL GAZETTE

ARRIVED. ...

March 6 — Wappaus, ship. 304 tons, Peterson, master, From Hamburgh, the

28th October, with 191 immigrants, Herr Frederick Aschenfloet, Surgeon Superin-tendent. ..."^[4].
