Biography

John was born 17 September 1905 in Liverpool, Lancashire, England. He was the son of Neptune Uglow, a glass worker, and Matilda Goffin.^[1]

In the 1911 Census, John Huglow was at 52 Rugby Place, Bradford with Margaret Dally who is acting as foster mother to him and 5 other boys.^[3]

About 4 June 1934 John Huglow married Eleanor Sybil Cash in Chester, Cheshire, England. He was 25 years old, a bachelor and his father's name was given as Zeptune Huglow. The bride was a spinster, also age 25 and her father was Samuel Cash.^[4]

At the time of his wife's death in 1974, they were living at Oak Cottage at 12 Marlston Avenue in Chester, Cheshire. Her funeral took place at St Mark's Church in Saltney, Cheshire.

John Huglow died in 1989 in Cheshire, England.^[5]
