Biography
John Panter, a 'husbandman' by profession, married Margaret Uglow (of residence Minster) in the parish of Minster, 28 June 1764[1] One of the witnesses to the wedding was an Aaron Panter. Baptism records show six children born between 1764 and 1777: Elizabeth, John, Margaret, Moses, John and Mary.[2]
