Death & Burial

Elizabeth died 3 Mar 1832 in Danby, Rutland County, VT. [2] She is buried in the Quaker Cemetery there.

Both "Laphams in America" compiled and written by Bertha Bortle Beal Aldridge Victor NY 1932-1953 and findagrave Memorial ID 74997695 have her name as Lydia:

from LiA: Lydia Lapham (Joshua, John, John) was born in 1751 and died 3 Mar 1831. She was the daughter of Joshua and Hannah (Sherman) Lapham, and married Stephen Rogers (1750-1835) 25 June 1772. He was the son of John Rogers of Marshfield Mass.

John & Lydia moved to Danby, Vt. in 1770. Their children were born there:

  1. Joseph Rogers b. 2d 4m 1773 [2 Apr 1773].[4]
  2. Asa b. 4d 7m 1774 [4 Jul 1774].[4]
  3. Aaron b. 5d 6m 1776 [5 Jun 1776];[4] d. 1866.

Why did Stephen Jr - 34014 get left out as one of her children? I assume it's a mistake and will add him since it is well documented.

Lapham-825 and Lapham-463 appear to represent the same person because: clear duplicate; husbands & children will need review also.
