Skalla-Grímr Kveldulfsson was født about 863 and died in the 930s.
He was a viking, skald, and landnåmsmann, and was one of the first permanent settlers of Iceland.
Grimr was the son of Kveldulf and Salbjørg. The sagas describe him as ugly and dark, both of looks and of temper, like his father. He became bald at a young age, and was then named Skalla-Grímr.
