On the 14-15 day of June 1880, Benjamin Charles Ulm was living with wife Ida Lizza (Root) in Lick Prairie still. They lived in Dwelling 11. He was 22 and Lizza was 20. They had one daughter, Romelda who was 10 months old.[1]
Sarah Ulm was born one year later on August 11, 1885, probably in Wabash County, Illinois to Benjamin and Lizza.
Sarah only lived 3-4 years. Find a grave has her as dying August 11, 1885. Find A Grave: Memorial #214345284 She is buried in the Gard's Point Cemetery in Wabash County, Illinois.
Sarah's older sister died a year later. Romelda died May 3, 1886, she was only 6 years old. She is buried in the Lick Prairie Cemetery, Gards Point in Wabash County, Illinois. Find A Grave: Memorial #214345373
I wonder if there was an epidemic in the area where they were living. More research needs to be done.
