James William Dyer, my great-grandfather married Carrie Elizabeth Foltmer in 1913 New Orleans. Children Aimee Estelle (grandmother) b 1914, James Gerald, Thelma Olivia and William David. All have passed. Aimee married Clifton Robert Hebert Sr and Thelma married Everett Welles Sr. James William Dyer's father died in 1896 by electrocution when working on telephone wires. Emma tried to sue and lost -- went to the LA supreme Court. I am trying to find out info on Thomas Anthony Dyer -- hitting a brick wall. Also George Dyer's wife Aimee is the godmother and name sake of my grandmother. Aimee Ulmer Dyer's uncle was married to the mother of Carrie Elizabeth Foltmer. Thank you
