Paul was born in 1880. He was the son of Paul Virgil Ulmet and Sara Wafflard of France. Paul's grandparents, Desire Ulmet and Caroline Besaux, immigrated from France arriving in New Orleans Nov 1859 on the ship Guttenberg. Paul Sr was 11yrs old. They later traveled into Illinois where they made their home farming.
Paul Jr and Jessie Goodson met and married 1906 and had 4 daughters. He passed away in 1972.
