Biography
Elizabeth Underhill was born 8 Apr 1762. In one reference she is identified as a daughter of Isaac and Abigail (Lespenard) Underhill [1], however the given name of her father probably was Israel.
She married 19 Jul 1779 in Westchester, New York, Capt. Thaddeus Avery. They had 13 children; baptisms of seven of them are recorded in the books of the Dutch Church, at Sleepy Hollow, New York:
