Hi Kylie,

I'm not a computer whiz but I managed to download my Ancestor tree to my computer, turn it into a gedcom file, and upload it to WikiTree (which surprised when it worked).

Here's a link to a great step-by-step of the process including screenshots that you might find helpful. The screen shots helped me get it done.

Wikitree help pages also give lots of information about the process, best to start with 'Before you import a GEDCOM'.

The amount of information and special projects and opportunities at WikiTree was a bit overwhelming to me at first, but I found it is just a learning curve like any other - at first it seems challenging, and then it gets easier.

The first link expalins GEDMATCH and will be a great help to finding who in your Ancestry tree is already in WikiTree.
