Biography

Leslie was a native Californian, born in Fresno to Lena L. Heisinger and Leslie Courtney Unger. Les spent many summers at the family ranch in Selma with his sister, Ruth and brothers Stanley and Verne (deceased). Les graduated from Selma High School, attended UC Davis, and graduated from Fresno State. He worked for American Cyanamid as a District Manager for eleven states, moved to Moraga and retired in 1991. Les was in the United States Marine Corps, prior to marrying his high school sweetheart, Aileen Mae Bradley in 1948. There were married until her passing in 1999. For the past ten years, Les found renewed happiness and love for his partner, Barbara Gross of Rossmooor. Les was a member of the Masonic Grand Lodge, Fig Garden Country Club, a member and part president of the Dolphin Swim Club in Fresno, Moraga Country Club and Contra Costa Country Club. His pasions were fishing, golf, and travel.
