Biography

Grace was the first wife of Ellis Barron and the mother of his children.[1] Her maiden name is unknown. She was born in England, where she married Ellis Barron. They emigrated to New England by 1640.

She died in Watertown, Massachusetts, some time before 14 Dec 1653, when Ellis Barron married his second wife (Hannah or Anne Hammond, widow of Timothy Hawkins).[1]

Research Notes

Disputed Child: Bond's Watertown[2] says that Peter Barron who died at the Battle of Bloody Brook (Deerfield, MBC) in Sept. 1675 was perhaps the son of Ellis, but offers no supporting sources. No other documentation for this relationship has been found. He has been removed, but if supporting evidence for the relationship can be found, discussion should be initiated in G2G for reattachment.

Please remove PP and detach alleged son Peter because Peter has been detached from Grace’s husband. Thanks in advance!

Her birth data was recently changed without solid source. "Online trees" is insufficient to change vitals and relationships. Please discuss changes here before making them. Thank you. I've restored the previous data.

Fitzgerald-3654 and Unknown-13633 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles represent the wife of Ellis Barron. Her LNAB is unknown, so Unknown-13633 is the appropriate destination profile.

Unknown-260902 and Unknown-13633 appear to represent the same person because: Both profiles were created to represent Grace Unknown, wife of Ellis Barron. They both have the same daughter. Both profiles need sources and both have uncertain dates, but I believe they represent the same person.
