Biography

U.S. Southern Colonies Project logo
Isabel (Unknown) Haden was a Virginia colonist.

Isabel _ _ _ _? Clement, Haden was born about 1696 in the Colony of Virginia. She may have been the younger sister of Elizabeth _ _ _ _? the 1st wife of John Clements of Hanover County, Virginia. After Isabel's sister's death she married her husband, John, most likely to help raise her sister's kids. Together Isabel and John Clement only had one son named Simon. After her husband's John Clement's death in 1749, and before 1759, Isabel married a 2nd time to Anthony Haden. At some point, Isabel and Anthony moved to North Carolina or perhaps they were married their. It is not sure where they married. But Isabel's son, Simon Clement is also found living in Granville County, North Carolina.

ANTHONY HADEN and Isabel [CLEMENT] were married before 1759. Isabel [CLEMENT] was born (date unknown).
