Immigration
The details of Margaret's immigration are not known. Anderson reports she was at Boston by at least 1635.[1]
At Massachusetts Bay
Margaret married by 1635 (birth of child), John Odlin; they were by then of Boston. She may have been one of the many "otherwise identified" women, Margaret, who joined the Boston church in the early years.[2]
The last notice of Margaret was on 11 May 1667 (joined in a deed).[3]

Research Notes
Birth. A prior version of this profile reported her birth "1610 in Newport, Newport, Rhode Island"
Death. A prior version of this profile reported her death, "before 11 Jan 1685 in Boston, Suffolk, Massachusetts."
Daughter Hannah. In the comments to his sketch about John Odlin, Robert Charles Anderson included notes about "Jeremiah and Anna Bumseed" whose apparent eldest child, "Hannah" was born at Boston 21 November 1664 (cited "BVR 92"). This child is the only candidate for the grandchild by that name mentioned in John Odlin's will. Three more children were born to the couple in 1666, 1668 and 1670 (cites BVR 99, 106, 113"), after which other children were baptized to a Jeremiah and Sarah. Anderson surmized that Hannah/Anna (Odlin) Bumstead had died in the interim. See Anderson's sketch for other details.

If there are no objections, I plan to work on this profile just a bit.
I plan to update the location of her birth. She was not born about 1610 at Rhode Island. Also, plan other changes to bring some standardization to the narrative. --Gene
The following was sent to the PGM account but really belongs here:
Margaret Odlin's (Unknown-201048) tree shows that her father was William Spooner, (Spooner-8).
Based on their profiles, William cannot be Margaret's father, for the following reasons:
If she is "Margaret Unknown," how could we know that her father was William Spooner?
William's profile shows that he was born around 1621 in England, and that he fathered Margaret around 1610 in Rhode Island, 11 years before he was born, and on two continents! Aside from being a biological impossibility, it is also historically impossible -- there was no Rhode Island until 1636.
Margaret is my husband's 9th great-grandmother. Our records show that she was born Margaret Brager in England, around 1610, married John Odlin around 1635, and died in Massachusetts before February, 1668. While I can't solidly document this, I know for sure that Margaret's current profile in WikiTree cannot be correct.
I am sending this same information to the manager of William's profile.
It means that changes, such as changing the surname, must be coordinated with the project first. In this case, since Margaret is the wife of John Odlin, in the Puritan Great Migration project, changes to Margaret's profile must go through the project. the PGM uses Anderson's Great Migration series as the main documentation. Anderson gives John Odin's wife as "Margaret ____".
In order to change her birth name to Spooner, a more recent and or stronger source is required.
