Known Children
Sarah Maria Cole, known as Minnie was born in 1839 in Maine, United States. She married Melville Cox Linscott (1836-1925) on 7 June 1865 in Readfield, Kennebec, Maine. Minnie died in 1871 in Kansas, United States in childbirth.
Carrie Cole was born on 14 May 1848 in Massachusetts, United States. She married, as his 2nd wife, Melville Cox Linscott (1836-1925) on 4 August 1873 in Manhattan, Riley, Kansas. Carrie died giving birth to Sarah Linscott on 13 August 1883 in Milford, Davis (later Geary), Kansas, United States.
Harriet Cole died in 1873 in Kansas, United States at the age of 67 and was buried in the Old Milford Cemetery. In the mid 1960's the graves in that cemetery were moved in order to construct the Milford Dam where the cemetery used to be. She is now in the Milford Cemetery in Milford, Geary, Kansas. [5] There is a list available that gives the names of the interred who were removed and buried in other cemeteries in the area along with their next of kin. Harriet and George have M.R. (Melville Roy) Linscott who was at the time living at 1607 Camden Avenue, Los Angeles, California.
