CAUTION: THIS PROFILE IS MOSTLY ENTERED AS A WARNING OF A POSSIBLE / PROBABLE ERROR REPEATED IN A NUMBER OF POOLE FAMILY TREES. INFORMATION BETWEEN TWO UNRELATED GEORGE POOLE MEN MAY HAVE BEEN INTERMIXED
THE TWO LINES SEEM DISTINCT -- ONE WITH Y HAPLOGROUP G DNA AND THE OTHER WITH (unconfirmed) R haplogroup. The Y haplogroup G Poole line were Huguenot refugees that originally settled in VA - with some moving to Wake / Bertie NC .... the second line may be Scottish. . This second line also migrated to the same areas of NC at about the same time. Several names appear to be identical or near identical.
