Biography

Elizabeth was born about 1628. She passed away after 1686. Elizabeth is the daughter of Thomas Winchell and Elizabeth Ann Winchell.[1]

Elizabeth was the widow of John Needham, and believed by some to be the daughter of John Wincoll, but no sources for that supposition are provided.[1] In this source, Anderson shows a John Wincoll, born in 1622, arriving in Watertown about 1635, but due to his age, this cannot be her father.[2]

Elizabeth married first John Needham, who died before May 26, 1648. [3]

Elizabeth married, as his second wife, Nicholas Hodsdon after November 29, 1647.[1]

Burial: Hodsdon Family Homestead, Kittery, York County, Maine[4]

Winchell-717 and Unknown-281121 appear to represent the same person because: No evidence for surname Winchell
