The maiden name for the spouse of Francis Beaman, Sr. is not Mary Perkins as is mistakenly posted to many trees for him and other information.[1]
Mrs Mary Beaman was the wife of Francis Beaman, Sr. Some people believe her maiden name to be Perkins; however, her son, James Beaman is the person who was married to Mary Perkins.[1] James Beaman and Mary Perkins were married by 18 Feb 1775.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Mary by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Mary:
Michelle, In Hinshaw's Encyclopedia of American Quaker Genealogy, Volume I, page 229 it indicates that it is James Beaman, who married Mary Perkins and not his father, Francis. Could you please update this profile and remove her last name for accuracy. Or I would like to update the page. Thanks, Sharlene Miller
