Unknown (Unknown) Stiles is a part of US Black heritage.

This person is a slave owned by Benjamin Stiles. She is described as mulatto and lives in Cherokee North Carolina on the 1850 Slave Schedule. I assume when Benjamin died, she was included by name in his probate which I have yet to locate.

The last name of STILES is an identifier only to help look her up. I have no reason to believe she ever used the STILES name.

Her owner was born and died in North Carolina and his father was born in North Carolina.
