Head of the Household Jost Bäcker, age 20, Lutheran craftsman from Darmstadt
Wife Anna Katharina Bäcker, age 18
Also living in the household:
Family # 53a
Head of the Household Johann Konrad Waffel, age 19, orphan, lives with Jost Bäcker
There is the possibility that Johann Konrad Waffel was Anna Katharina Bäcker's biological brother, but there is no confirmation of that yet.
By the time of the 1775 census, Katharina and her husband had three young sons. Johann Konrad Waffel was no longer living in the family, but Jost's biological brother Johann Peter Becker had taken his place.
Child #3 Johann Kaspar Becker, age 1 year 9 months
Neither she nor her husband are listed in the the 1798 census.
The couple's youngest child was born in 1787, so they must have died at some point after that but before 1798.
