Gertraud (Unknown) Becker is a Volga German.
Gertraud (Unknown) Becker has German Roots.
Family #209 in the 1834 Grimm census.
Maria Gertraud was born in 1805 in Grimm, Russia. For now, the names of her parents and her last name at birth are unknown, although they were most likely Grimm residents. She was born after the 1798 census and married before the 1834 census. This means she was not captured in a census with her biological parents. Unless we find a descendant who has detailed private records, we will probably never know her last name at birth.
Studying the maternal haplogroup of Maria Gertraud's female descendants could help narrow down her maternal ancestry.
She married Kaspar Becker no later than 1826, and the couple went on to have five children:
Head of the Household Andreas Becker, age 45 in 1816, deceased 1823

Gertraud and Gertrude were far less common names in the Volga German community. When trying to identify her birth family, it makes sense to look for other people with the name Gertraud or Gertrude, people who would have a child or grandchild with that same name.
Family #125 Maria Gertrude Grosch 1748
Family #132 Gertrude Bierman Zulauf 1757
Family #79 Anna Gertrude Zerber 1777
Family #12 Gertrude Elisabeth Weber 1779
Family #A6 Gertrude Magdalena Kling Schwagerus 1760
Family #96 Sophia Gertrude Aab 1789
Family #47 Louisa Gertrude Albrandt 1795
Of these women, the following were too young to be Maria Gertraud Becker's mother:
Family #96 Sophia Gertrude Aab 1789 Too young
Family #47 Louisa Gertrude Albrandt 1795 Too young
Family #22 Gertrude Magdalena Kling 1795 Too young
These women could have been her grandmother:
Family #125 Maria Gertrude Grosch 1748 Poss GM
Family #132 Gertrude Bierman Zulauf 1757 Poss GM
The rest of the women could have been her mother:
Family #79 Anna Gertrude Zerber 1777 Poss Mother
Family #12 Gertrude Elisabeth Weber 1779 Poss Mother
Family #A6 Gertrude Magdalena Kling Schwagerus 1760 Poss Mother
The best match for that thus far is with Maria Gertrude Grosch (family #125) possibly being her grandmother. She was born in 1748, too old to be the younger Maria Gertraud's mother, but one of her children could have named a grandchild Maria Gertrude in honor of her their mother.
Again, this is all predicated on the assumption that Gertraud/Gertrude was a family name that was passed down from generation to generation. If it turns out that it was simply a name her parents liked and was not a family name, then she could be descended from just about any family.
