By instrument dated February 1, 1776, recorded July 1777 term of the Tryon County Court, William Lasswell, and Maryan his wife, both of Tryon County, North Carolina conveyed a tract fo 200 ac along Sandy Run, a branch of Broad River, in the same county, orginially granted to Charles Arington, to William Johnson of the same county.[1]
