She is not listed in the 1857 census and is presumed to be deceased, since divorce was rare in the Volga German villages. Had she survived, she would have been 62 years of age. I am including a copy of the 1857 census below to connect her with her children and grandchildren.

Anna Dorothea may have been Anna Dorothea Jäger, the only Anna Dorothea born in 1794 according to the 1798 census. If this is true, then she was Friedrich Zulauf's second wife, and he, her second husband. She would not have been the biological mother of the eight Zulauf children. This is not likely a match, since Anna Jäger Trott had young children herself and they surely would have been listed as Friedrich's step-children in the 1834 census. Also, the 1834 census routinely differentiates between children in a family born to a first and second wife, and there is no indication that the children belong to any other person than the Anna Dorothea of this record.
It is most likely that this Anna Dorothea was either born in another village and later moved to Grimm, or that her birth year is significantly off and she was originally identified as simply Anna or Dorothea in the 1798 census. The only possibility I've found so far is:
Every other possibility has either a different first name or different middle name, a birth year that doesn't match, and is connected to a different husband in 1834.
