Biography

Ann (Unknown) Boxley was born in Staffordshire, England.

Nancy "Ann" Harley was born in 1844 in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire, England to Thomas Harley and Lydia (Tortoiseshell) Harley. Her birth was registered in Wolverhampton in the last quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Tortoiseshell.^[1]

In 1851 Nancy Harley (age 6) lived in Wolverhampton with her father Thomas (45, Locksmith), mother Lydia (44), brother Frederic (20, Ag Lab), sister Harriet (10), and lodger Charles Mckey (65, Ag Lab).^[2]

Nancy Harley (age 19, residing at Falkland Str, daughter of Thomas Harley) and Thomas Coleman [mistranscribed as Poleman] (of full age, residing at Falkland Str, son of Philip Coleman) were married on 12 Jun 1864 at St Mary in Wolverhampton.^[3]
