In 1851 Nancy Harley (age 6) lived in Wolverhampton with her father Thomas (45, Locksmith), mother Lydia (44), brother Frederic (20, Ag Lab), sister Harriet (10), and lodger Charles Mckey (65, Ag Lab).[2]
Nancy Harley (age 19, residing at Falkland Str, daughter of Thomas Harley) and Thomas Coleman [mistranscribed as Poleman] (of full age, residing at Falkland Str, son of Philip Coleman) were married on 12 Jun 1864 at St Mary in Wolverhampton.[3]
In 1871 Anne Colman (age 26) lived in Bilston, Staffordshire with her husband Thomas (28, Iron Plate Worker), son Phillip (6), and daughter Harriett (4).[4]
In 1881 Nancy Collman (age 37, Bucket Maker Wife) lived in The Lye, Worcestershire with her husband Thomas (38, Bucket Maker) and six children: Phillip (16, Mason), Annie (14, Servant), Frederick (11, Scholar), John Thomas (4, Scholar), Samuel (3, Scholar), and Lydia (0).[5] [Note: Annie is probably a nickname for Harriet, since no Annie appears on the earlier census - if so she was recorded twice, both here and in the household of her employer.]
In 1891 Ann Coleman is shown to be living at Rufford Street in the parish of The Lye, Stourbridge, Worcestershire, England.[6]
