Page 309: Jan 31, 1760 from Thomas Markham and Agnes Daniel (mother of the said Thomas) of Chesterfield County, to Thomas Tabb of A, for 75 £, all that tract of land whereon the said Markham and Daniel lately dwelt, containing about 100 acres, it being part of a tract of 400 acres patented to Daniel Hamblen on Aug 1, 1734, and by him sold to Thomas Markham, father of the said Thomas Markham, party to these presents. The tract is in A, bounded by John Compton, Henry Powell, and the said Thomas Tabb. Signed - Thomas Markham, Agness (R her mark) Daniel. Wit - Richd Pringle, Joseph Mays, Jeremiah Bowles, Henry Powell.
