Prudence was the second wife of Joseph Stetson. Her maiden name is not known. They married by 1670. There were seven children from their marriage.
Some gedcoms give her name as Prudence Clapp, with no references I've seen. This is just a guess, but did researchers find a young woman named Prudence Clapp and just assume she was the same Prudence who married Joseph Stetson? There is one reference to this marriage in The Second Boat, 199, page 30, no sources given.
