Biography
Possible birth indexed as Catherine Moore Pledger. She was the eldest daughter of Benjamin Ruda Pledger and Mary (Bachop) Pledger.[1]
Johnston - Pledger.- On the 25th February, (1891) at Knox Church, by the Rev. Dr Stuart. Samuel James, eldest son of S. Johnston, Esq., of Kaiapoi, to Catherine Mona; daughter of B. E. Pledger, Esg., of Dunedin.
Samuel and Mona had at least five children together, from 1892 to 1909. [2]
Ninety four year old Mona died in 1963. [3]
