Birth
Roselda was born in 1869 in Mercer County, Ohio.[1] She was the daughter of Michael Harner (1847-1943) and Sarah Shipman (1848-1904).
Marriages
She married 1st Francis Marion McNair (1874-1930) on 27 Feb 1892 in Mercer, Ohio.[2] Their son, William Esta McNair, was born 7 Mar 1892[3] and died in 1952.
(Francis Marion McNair would marry again in 1895, to Olive Crouch (1874-1962), who was apparently the mother of another son, Clifford McNair, he had fathered in 1892. They would have other children as well. And after McNair's death, Olive would also marry again. Divorce records have not yet been found.)
Roselda married again, in 1895[4] to Thomas F. Mitchell (1861-1929).
Roselda and Thomas Mitchell had the following children, according to FamilySearch:
William E. Mitchell 1892- (almost certainly her child with McNair, adopted)
They were recorded in 1900 in Mercer County. Thomas was a farmer, Rosella a carpet weaver, Esta W. McNair was listed as step-son, and Charles, Dot, and Rollo were also listed.
They were recorded in Mercer in the 1910 census as well. TF Mitchell was a laborer as a hay-baler, Rosela was not employed, William Mitchell was 18 and also working as a hay-baler, Charles, D.L, Rollo, and Goldie also present.
In 1920 they were in Muskingum, OH. Frank was a teamster at a paper mill, Roselda was not working, Charley was employed as a roller at a sheep mill, and Roland as a roller at a paper mill.
Thomas F. Mitchell died in 1929. In 1930, Roselda was living with Raleigh and his wife Eunice in Muskingum County.
