AMES, Marie E. Age 75, of Sutherlin, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, June 30, 1998. She was born on February 8, 1923 at Trenton, Missouri. She attended Faith Baptist Church in Sutherlin. She is survived by two children, Jim Ames and his wife, Marlene, of Roseburg and Barbara Andrews and her husband, Deen of Sutherlin; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother. She was preceded in death by two sisters. At her request no funeral service will be held. Private interment at Valley View Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to CHAPEL OF THE FIRS, Sutherlin.
